Gallery Contributor Agreement

Last updated: April 5, 2026

This Contributor Agreement ("Agreement") governs your participation in the SprigLoom Gallery Contributor Program. By opting in, you agree to these terms in addition to the Terms of Service.

1. License Grant

By submitting images to the Gallery, you grant SprigLoom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Reproduce your images on physical products (prints, framed prints, merchandise) via our print-on-demand partners.
  • Display your images in the SprigLoom Gallery and marketing materials.
  • Create derivative works for product formatting (cropping, resizing, color adjustments for print).

You retain full copyright and ownership of your work. This is a license for commercial reproduction through the Platform, not an ownership transfer.

2. No Exclusivity

This Agreement is non-exclusive. You are free to sell, license, or display your work on any other platform, in any gallery, or through any other channel. SprigLoom places no restrictions on how you use your own work outside of the Platform.

3. Channel Options

For each image, you choose where it appears:

5. Contributor Credits & Payouts

Earnings accumulate as SprigLoom credits (1 credit = $0.01 USD). Credits are non-transferable and can be redeemed for:

  • Marketplace purchases (any balance).
  • Subscription payments (any balance).
  • Cash out via Stripe ($25.00 minimum). Requires a connected Stripe Express account.

Tax obligations: US contributors must provide a W-9 before their first cash-out. International contributors must provide a W-8BEN. Stripe issues 1099-MISC forms for US contributors earning over $600/year.

6. Price Floor

You set a minimum price for each of your Gallery items. The Platform provides recommended prices based on product type and market data. Items with unreasonable prices may not appear in search results or featured placements, but will not be penalized or removed.

7. Platform Curation

Gallery visibility is determined by an algorithm considering factors such as engagement, recency, seller health score, and content diversity.

The Platform reserves the right to curate Gallery content, including manually selecting ("cherry-picking") standout images from any seller tier for featured placement. This helps surface exceptional work from new contributors.

8. Right to Withdraw

You may withdraw any image from the Gallery at any time. There is a 30-day grace period for any outstanding orders placed before the withdrawal request. During this period:

  • Existing orders will be fulfilled and you will receive your revenue share.
  • No new orders can be placed for the withdrawn image.
  • After 30 days, the license for that image is fully revoked.

9. Content Requirements

Gallery submissions must:

  • Be your original work or work you have the right to license.
  • Meet minimum resolution requirements for print quality.
  • Comply with the Platform's content rating system and Terms of Service.
  • Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

10. Termination

You may leave the Contributor Program at any time by withdrawing all images and opting out in your account settings. The 30-day grace period applies to all outstanding orders. SprigLoom may terminate your participation for violations of this Agreement or the Terms of Service.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Columbus, Ohio, USA.
